Why West Orange?
We chose Llewellyn Park in West Orange because it’s beautiful
and only 22 minutes to New York City on the Midtown Direct
train. We’ve stayed for ten years (and counting) because
we love the dynamic community of artists, entrepreneurs, and
professionals. Llewellyn Park is the perfect place for kids
because of the lush green spaces and strong sense of community.
Favorite local dining spots?
Supreme Bakery on Main Street has the best coffee ever! Lucas,
2, and Lindsay, 4, love the West Orange Pancake House. It’s
kid-friendly and has yummy silver-dollar pancakes. The Highlawn
Pavilion for great food, a happening bar scene, and views
of the New York City skyline.
Typical weekends are spent?
Hanging out together around the house and yard or visiting
friends.
Tell us more?
We’ve been involved in a community-wide effort to build
a rustic neighborhood playground for our youngest residents
in Llewellyn Park. It should be completed in the fall and then
we’ll be able to spend our time hanging out there and
having fun with our neighbors!
