like Hawaii. Rich in beauty and culture, the islands have always
been a favorite destination for travelers seeking a tropical
paradise. With its beautiful golden beaches, stunning sunsets,
green mountains, and endless blue waters, Maui is the shining
gem of the eight main islands. Maui was born millions of years
ago emerging from the eruptions of two volcanos with enormous
lava flows Maui was born. The second-largest of Hawaii’s
island’s, Maui is 727 square miles, and has a population
of 117,644. Named for a legendary demigod who was said to have
pulled it from the sea, Maui is the consummate tropical escape.
