Why Mendham? In 1990, my family was looking for a new home. As I drove down Mendham’s charming Main Street for the first time, I thought, this is the town where I want to raise my children. Mendham has it all—lovely neighbors, historic architecture, and great schools.
Local spots: My friends and I enjoy meeting at the Black Horse Inn for a fun evening out. I like the blackened chicken salad with a refreshing glass of chardonnay. Best of all, it’s just a stone’s throw from my house. I also patronize Mary Mac’s Art & Frame, and Moorman’s Galleries—and my favorite spot
for special clothing is Windswept Boutique.
Weekends are spent: I focus on my art each weekend, teaching private and group classes at home; painting my oil landscapes, flower still-lifes, and Christmas ornaments;
and visiting galleries throughout New Jersey.
Tell us more… I actually painted a well-known portrait of the Black Horse Inn years ago, and that artwork has evolved into notecards that have become popular in the community.
